This year we really enjoyed a beautiful fall. The colors were a sight to behold. Everywhere we drove we could enjoy the beauty of the Earth.

It was also a great way to forget the ugliness of the political world and focus more on God's world. I was often reminded of Elder Wirthlin's last conference address where he counciled us "Come what may and love it!".

Coming home each day and seeing the beautiful world we live in helped me not focus so much on the trying times we are living in. I was reminded of God's love for us by giving us such beauty to enjoy. HOWEVER.....

Now my yard is full of all the beautiful leaves I so enjoyed. It is a daunting task to rake it all up and dump it in the garden. You don't know anything about raking leaves until you come the North Carolina. Good thing I have such a great raker!

But I guess the beauty I so enjoyed this fall continues on as I watch these two find the same joy and happiness in a pile of dried up leaves.
