I thought I would share some of the pictures from Jason's party. It was a pirate theme and we had a lot of fun. Each boy got a bandana, sash, and loot bag. They then got a bunch of pirate items to either wear or put in their bags. I decided to not make a cake because the rest of the party was so much work. We had cupcakes with pirate candles that the kids liked just fine.

We played a lot of games. One of the games was a cannonball war. I made 2 ships out of cardboard and the boys had to throw thier cannonballs (wadded up newspaper) at the other ship. At the end of the 'war' they all had to walk the plank. Trent and I also buried a treasure box in the yard that they had to find and dig up. I don't have any pictures of this because I was stressing out and forgot to take some!

We even had a real pirate there to inspire the boys. Trent looks smashing doesn't he?! Each boy got his picture taken with Jason and the boat and we used them for our thank you cards. I think they turned out real cute.

Wow... holy crap!! You went all out! That is way to stressful for me, I suck at party planning. I think it would make me have a migrain the rest of the year! HAPPY (LATE) BIRTHDAY JASON!!! We will send him a present when we have some money! We miss you tonz! :)
Well shiver me timbers and batton down the hatches!!!
That be one of the most sinister lookin' blokes on all the Seven seas (Alas I can't tell if he be singularly sinister or if his pipes are clogged...time will surely tell)
Ye looks to have had a gatherin supreme indeed. Young Jason looks to have what it takes to become a right proper pirate...a captain even.
Well I'm off to weigh anchor on my way to the Bay of Bombay, I'll be yet rendevousing with one of the worst, barnacle breathing blokes north of Davey Jones' Locker.............
xoxoxo
